Skot Transformers Limited was established over thirty transformers
and associated wound products , years ago and moved to its current location
in the Malvern Hills in 1984. In 1985 Skot Transformers became a line
reactors , wholly owned subsidiary of Goodyear Transformers Limited of Birmingham.
In 1991 Skot Transformers separated from Goodyears line
inductors , following a management buyout. Over the years the company has
continued to broaden its product range and now produces transformers rectifier
transformers , from 3VA to 3MVA. A continued investment in the company has
led to a doubling of the manufacturing area which now dc
chokes , consists of two manufacturing sites. The company employs approximately
eighty five people and is supported by a comprehensive power
transformers , design and development team. We have continued to undertake
considerable investment in people over the years isolating
and non-isolating auto wound transformers , to confirm our position as a
leading transformer manufacturer and have experienced good rates of growth.

on selection of the correct size for ul recognised components ,
given applications. Supply Frequency Transformers in the standard ranges are
suitable for both 50Hz and 60Hz, interbridge reactors
supplies. However, frequencies below 50Hz result in larger transformer size,
while frequencies above 50Hz may enable transformer size to be reduced.
